Key information

Potential candidates must hold an existing ACS certificate for the categories they wish to renew.

The assessment can be taken up to six months prior to the expiry date on the certificate, and still honour the original expiry date.

If more than 12 months have lapsed after the expiry date, the candidate will have to resit the initial ACS assessment.

Candidates can decide whether to carry out only the assessment, which will be two days, or an optional day’s training which is available if requested.

Candidates have the opportunity to upskill in other areas of the gas industry and add categories they currently do not hold. This could include LPG and Commercial Gas qualifications.
